Sponsoring a child to go to School
Pagus:Africa is proud to facilitate sponsors for a growing number bright children. Children are selected based on need and academic potential. It is our hope that these children will go on to help their families, their villages and their country.The Bishop Forson School is an extra ordinary school located along the Kpando-Torkor road. Sponsorships can transform a community. They cost $280 per year and sponsors get regular reports about their child.
Sponsorships provide:
- Tuition and related expenses to attend the Bishop Forson School
- Two meals per day
- Transportation to and from school if required.
- Basic medical care and transportation, if needed, to medical facilities
- Parents are closely tied to the school community. Our work with the children provides us with a wonderful opportunity to educate parents, too.
Sponsorships cost only $280 per year or $450 to sponsor a child who requires boarding.
Pagus:Africa's mission is to strengthen poor rural communities in Ghana, W. Africa through targeted projects in education, health, and poverty reduction. We believe the most effective ways to facilitate long term sustainable change is through education of children and through direct help and advice to local responsible non-profit organizations. We seek to empower communities to improve their schools, water sources, and health conditions. 100% of donated funds go directly to our projects - no salaries or rents are deducted.
